'Plight of the Bumble Bee' at UNIONgallery, Edinburgh

I was very pleased to be asked to take part in the UNIONgallery's 'Plight of the Bumble Bee' exhibition.  Along with other UNIONgallery artists, who were all asked to create bee-related works, the exhibition aims to highlight the decline in bumble bee population, with 20% of the proceeds being donated to The Bumble Bee Conservation Trust.  I have created two new works for the show: 'Bumble Bee Bowls' (kiln-formed with transfer application), and 'Bee Nests' (lost wax cast glass using pate de verre).

'Plight of the Bumble Bee' at UNIONgallery, Edinburgh, runs from Thurs 8th Sept (Private View 6-8pm) until Mon 10th Oct 2011.
